God Loves You - even if you have had and abortion
If you have had an abortion, this message is the heart and voice of God calling YOU to receive forgiveness and healing. God loves YOU and YOUR life is precious.
One of the untold truths about abortion is that it greatly harms the woman too and the negative consequences continue long after the event. No matter how you try to rationalize and make excuses, having an abortion results in great guilt and grief that only God can heal. I know this because I had 2 abortions by the time I was 32 and after years of grief, I have been healed by the love of God through the blood and sacrifice of God’s son, Jesus Christ.
God wants to heal YOU too.
Until you repent and receive forgiveness from God, your sins will continue to corrupt you until you are completely separated from God. Even if you bury the guilt down deep or deny that having an abortion is wrong, the guilt will manifest itself in low self-esteem or depression which may result in alcohol and drug abuse followed by other destructive behavior like continued sexual promiscuity.
God loves YOU and does not want YOU to suffer in guilt. God wants to forgive and heal YOU.
God knew when He created us that we would sin, not because we are evil but because we need to learn. God also knew that in the process of learning how to be good, we would commit evil. To remedy this “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him would not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
God loves YOU and does not want YOU to perish in guilt. God wants YOU to live.
It can be hard to see how God giving His only begotten son to be a sacrifice for the sins of the world is loving, but it is. God knew that many of us would not fully realize that what we did was wrong until after we did it. He also knew that once we realize we have committed a terrible sin, we can feel unworthy to seek forgiveness. This is another way our sins corrupt us and keep us from knowing the truth about God’s love for us.
So God gave us His only begotten Son and allowed His son Jesus Christ to be crucified in a horrific way to show us that: You can hate my son who has done everything right and nothing wrong, you can undermine him and lie about him, spit on him and beat him, whip and crucify him and even after all this, if you repent you are forgiven. If God forgives this, He will forgive you for having an abortion.
God our Father, the creator of all things, is good and makes things right for the innocent life which has been harmed or cut short by sin. God gave us His son Jesus Christ so we can be healed from the harm ours sins cause to us.
God is calling YOU and pleading with YOU to receive His love. All YOU have to do is confess your sins and ask God to forgive YOU. Not only will God forgive all your sins but God will help you live a righteous life free from sin.
Reading the gospel of John is a great way to learn more about the love that God has for YOU. Also, the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 is another way the Word of God reveals that God is our Father and no matter what our sins are, our Father loves us and wants us to come home.
